Gerald Najarian, President

Gerald Najarian is the founding principal of The Remington Group, LLC, a premier manufacturing management consultancy based in Princeton, New Jersey. He is a business executive and management consultant with more than 35 years experience in manufacturing operations and finance. Gerry founded The Remington Group in 1990 to bring his experience in manufacturing operations and cost accounting to small- and mid-sized clients, and to expand upon his experience through the firm’s associates.

Gerry’s clients span the range of manufacturing in discrete, job-shop, process, and continuous flow companies. The services he and his associates have provided encompass Lean manufacturing, supply chain management, strategic cost management and activity-based-costing. Prior to founding The Remington Group, he served as a management consulting partner in a “big four” accounting firm, was the chief financial officer of a publicly held manufacturing and distribution companyand CEO of a privately held manufacturing company.

Gerry is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to the economics of manufacturing and supply issues. His recent articles on procurement management, supply chain management, manufacturing cost accounting, and Lean manufacturing appear in Mid Range ERP, IOMA Inventory Report and APICS The Performance Advantage magazines. He is active in professional associations including The Association for Manufacturing Excellence, The Institute of Management Accountants, Financial Executives International (he is a past area vice-president and national board member/member of the audit committee), and APICS, of which he is a past chapter president. A Certified Public Accountant, Gerry received a BBA from Iona College and an MBA from the Baruch College of the City University of New York.
